  11. Resolved Question: who to go for regarding aromatherapy questions?
  12. 23 May 2008 at 2:00am
I have so many questions regarding EO and their safety mostly for cleaning purposes but also in body products. Who is the best person to go to? I have thought about getting a book but feel like that will still leave me with too many questions. Also how are aromatherapists licensed~ as in are they up to date, trustworthy, held to some kind of legal standards (like if they were to tell me to do something that caused great harm would there be ramifications)? Also how much does some sort of consultation cost? All I need is some guidance and don't want to break the bank.

  52. 13 May 2008 at 11:35am
I'm 11 weeks pregnant and although I'm not showing yet I want to do what I can to prevent stretch marks. Someone told me to use almond oil. 57. Resolved Question: What oils are good for sleep?
  58. 8 May 2008 at 11:29am
I'm trying out some aromatherapy for sleep. I've been having a bad couple of nights sleep, and I realized that I had a diffuser with lemon oil in it right next to my bed. I moved it out of the room completely last night to see if that had been effecting my sleep and I finally got a good night sleep. Now I intended to use the diffuser in my bedroom, but I need different oils. Something for sleep. What are your suggestions? Thanks in advance!

  61. Resolved Question: Do you believe Americans Today Spend Too Much on Their Pets?
  62. 6 May 2008 at 7:33pm
For next year, the projected amount Americans will spend on their pets is over 40 billion dollars, and this is considered a modest estimate. with products like expensive organic foods, special mineral water, spa and aromatherapy kits, chicken-flavored toothpaste, and designer clothing available, don't you think this is a little much? EDIT: I DON'T HATE ANIMALS! Geez people, I own NINE PETS! And I consider each and every one of them good friends. I know caring for them can be tough, and expensive, especially when the have medical problems. What I meant is that pets don't need to go to the spa once a week, and I have nothing against clothing for pets notice I said "DESIGNER" clothing. Tommy, Raulph Lauren, that sort of stuff. What I'm against is all the Paris Hilton wannabees that buy their purse dogs diamond studded collars.

  87. Resolved Question: Do I put Aromatherpay or Massage on my business cards?
  88. 23 Apr 2008 at 12:36am
Im am trying to start my own bussiness doing massage, I have the qualifications, insurance, I am registered, I have all the stuff I need except for the clients! My qualification is Diploma of Aromatherapy, so I do massage and I specialise in using essential oils. A business coach told me that I should change my business cards so they dont mention anywhere on them that I do Aromatherapy, only that I do massage, even to not have my qualification on there because it says Dip. of Aromatherapy. He tells me that when people look at my business cards they think that im am going to boil up witchety grubs and make them drink it while I sit in the corner chanting omms and burning lavender!! Taking away the title of Aromatherapy, I feel conflicts with other things I have learnt, like doing something different that isnt the same as what everyone esle does, there are so many people that do massage but I never see any business cards that offer Aromatherapy massage. So wouldnt' mine stand out?

Hi, I`m currently studying Aromatherapy and an essay I have to write includes reasons why hand washing after using essential oils is essential, so far I have come up with the obvious ( that there is a risk that they may be ingested, that they can stain clothes and work surfaces and that there is a risk of over exposure from the oils) can anyone come up with anything else?< >
