    i have not thrown up for a good three hours now, and i feel very normal. after just nibbling on saltines and sipping water all day, i've become very hungry/thirsty. which of these do you think i could probably hold down? - gatorade (fruit punch flavored) - sierra mist - ham sandwich - ice cream and for dinner, i plan on having a mcdonald's chicken snackwrap. can i keep that down? if it makes a difference, i probably got food poisoning.

    6 months ago i was on 150 mg of Lamictin and now i've managed to get onto a dose of 50 mg- i feel much much better- the fact that i was put on lamictin for anxiety without the doctor telling me what i might experience makes me very angry. If i had the money i'd sue for millions! bloody quacks. anyways i just want to get positive feedback on my question. Achieving homeostasis seems to take a while but i'm excited to have this poison out of my body. anyone with similar views! Regards, Richard

    My mother-in-law insists on letting my 9 month old play with his fathers and uncles toys from the 1980's. I feel awkard saying anything to her about it b/c she does so much for us. I'm just worried the toys may have lead paint on them. Also how can I get her to stop trying to give me things my husband and his brothers used? She gave me a baby gate that I was very wary of using, but my husband insisted. Well we used and my son was standing up holding onto and it fell. He landed flat on his back with the gate onto him.

    i've thrown up around ten times in the past three hours. i'm pretty sure i got food poisoning, and its hard for me to keep things in my system - i even puked shortly after drinking water. i've heard that your stomach can hold saltine crackers most of the time, even if you're vomiting often. is this true? if it isnt, what can i eat?

THey find the abandoned steel ship full of gold coins up a dry river and hide the coins in a cave. Please help. This is driving me crazy.

    We have a farm...We have lots of birds mostly Starlings and Pigeons. I don't mind them but I want to put out bird feeders and invite finches and oriels. We have those too, just not that many of them. I am afraid that the Starlings will chase them away, but I would like to invite another bird of any species to possibly chase the Starlings away..We don't want to shoot them or poison them. Any bird people with any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks!

    How do i kill poison ivy plants without using round up? Because it is so toxic? We live on 40acres of woods. MY brother has poison ivy and sumac, and it was a real wake up call for us to be more cautious. Does anyone know how to kill poison ivy and/or sumac and oak plants without using something as toxic as Round up? That would be great! Thank you!

    like i said it was really red and hurt after it peeled and i dont know what it is. some of my friends said that it was sun poisoning but it dosent itch or look like its because i've had it before on my back from being out in the sun with no protection like this timeand so i just wanted to know if anyone know's what it is, has had it before, or if anyone has a cure.

    ok, just been sat in my garden enjoying my day off when i saw a huge rat come out from under the shed. i almost died! and screamed like a bloody idiot. here's the problem tho, and i will sound like a total moron, but i dont want to buy a rat trap, because i would have to empty it... and i dont want to even touch it... so here's the question, can you buy rat poison that doesnt harm other animals? i have a golden retriever and i obviously dont want anything to happen to him. i'm even thinking about going and getting a cat... anyone have any ideas what i can use to get rid of them???

    He would not eat for (2) days but he was drinking water profusly then throw it up. Then he bled to death between midnight an five this morning. I was taking him to the vet today. I thought at first it was a bufo toad but nothing that I found on the internet says anything about a dog bleeding to death (from his mouth and annus) from a toad. The most common symptoms of bufo poisoning occur suddenly and may include profuse salivation (my dog had), vocalizing and pawing at the mouth (my dog did not do), brick-red gums (my dog did not have), incoordination or a stiff gait (my dog did not have), difficulty breathing and the intoxication can rapidly progress to seizures (my dog did not have) and death.I also read that they can die within 15 minutes of coming incontact with the poison. Maybe some other poisonus toad?Any help would be great as I feel terribly guilty about not taking him to the vet sooner,I thought he had an upset stomach and was trying to flush his system out. Very sad morning

    Last Saturday i woke up and was promptly sick, which carried on for the rest of the day. I believe it was from a bottled beer, as i had one last night and it gave me a really upset stomach, (only drank 2 the night before i was ill!) The beers are in date and have been stored either in a dark corner or in the fridge. However they do explode out of the bottle on opening, and no they haven't been shaken! So does anybody know about this?

    I need to buy 50 acres of land near a forest. The Hogwartz Express will be a narrow gauge line running beside the forest and a river or better still the sea. I loved all the answers. Yes, I am serious. I love the Harry Potter books 1) because they are very well written books 2) because they are not about the good guy and the bad guy but they potray each character with unique failings. I just love the way Rowling has achieved this. 3) I don't think anything that has been written in the book does not exist in some form or the other in the world right now. It is a question of perspective. Hogwartz is just a concept where exceptionally brilliant students go to learn how to cope with their special gifts. It has nothing to do with so-called magic (or everything to do with it) I have always been different and have suffered for it. So yes, I am serious I want to give anyone who donates (invests?) $100 to this project one share in this venture. And yes, it is going to be profitable but the profits will be ploughed back to the project.

    My friend got sick from mussel poisoning but whats interesting that I ate it too and I'm absolutely fine. Last night he vomited, had diarrhea, shakes and today he has somewhat difficulty breathing , he says it feels like after smoking a pack of cigarettes. He also feels like sore throat. It looks like an allergic reaction to me since I was not poison after eating the same food. What medicine could he possibly use? and how long does the allergic reaction last? can it get worse or it usually goes away after a few days? Thank you. Can I get Epinephrine without prescription at Walgreen's or where can I get it? my friend doesn't have an insurance so I don't know how he'll be able to get to ER. Also Epi-pen is an alternative to Epinephrine or should we try to use them both? He says he feels like his lungs are swollen..but he still can breathe, talk and walk just breath is short and it hurt...I don't want it to get any worse..God Help Us!!! Can symptoms return after 24 hours? he survived the first 12 hours but can it return? I've read it returns after 4 hours sometimes.

    The last couple days, I have been feeling like I needed to poop, but not much has come out. When I woke up today, I felt fine. As soon as I got to work, I started feeling REALLY yucky. I went to the bathroom and passed a large bowel movement which made me feel better for about 5-10 minutes. Then. I had very mild diarrhea for a couple hours. I had painful and uncomfortable, abdominal cramps in my left side and in the middle of my stomach (down low) early in the day. Now, the cramps are mainly in that really low middle region and now feel more gassy. I also felt a little nauseous this afternoon. Pretty sure I don't have food poisoning, but should I worry about the cramping since it is persistent and painful? It feels like sickness/poo cramps, but at what point should I call the doc? It's starting to stress me out, but I'm taking comfort in the fact that I'm still feeling my little girl moving all over the place!

    Pesticides are everywhere, and they poison people and animals everywhere. They have contaminated the water and the air world wide. So, why stop? Would stopping the use of pesticides really make a difference at this point? We're already contaminated, and we pass the pesticides on to our children...who'll pass it to their children. So if we're already contaminated, won't we eventually build up some sort of immunity against the pesticides? Is it too late to make a difference? DDT, the really harmful pesticide, is now illegal in the United States, but it is still used in many other countries and illegally in the US. So, it still contaminates Americans through water currents and air.

    The other day I ate a pie that was 2 and a half months past its used by date. I thought "oh nah it will be all good its just a reccomended date" but I was sure wrong. That afternoon I felt sick in my stomach and was up till 3am unable to sleep becauseI kept feeling like I was going to throw up. Its 2 days later now and I still feel sick in my stomach and something is up with my throat. I have a big 18th birthday party and Im going to that, so what I want to know is there any way I can make myself feel better or recover faster

    im wondering,last wednsday while i was on vacation at my aunts house in florida we bought a pizza and some bbq spare ribs,we all ate it and we ate about 6:30pm,about 1am i got very sick,and was up all night throwing up ( 5 times) ,i finally stopped about 4:30 am.i had no diarrhoea.the next day i was bushed from the illness.is it possible that i got the bad portion of food? im a very nervous person, and the day before i had a squabble with my aunt,i was all bent out of shape,so my aunt is blaming this on nerves.i dont know who to believe,was it food poisioning a virus or nerves?

    ok this was truely by accident im a keen fish keeper and have many tanks with all sorts of fish in well this morning i noticed that one of my platys was acting weird and had developed white spot either that or he is being bullied but all sypthoms point towards white spot, so i grab the chemical and added to the tank as per normal but it was until after i finished that i realised i had added the chemical for goldfish into my tropical tank and as i have never done this before i am slightly worried i have poisoned my fish and now wondering if my whole tank is going to die because of this any help would be grateful pretz

    I just finished the book & im still not sure of the reason that the gobblers cut away the daemons from children. I know why Lyra's father needed Roger in the end, but im still not sure what the purpose of the gobblers was. Right now im thinking that for some reason the gobblers thought they were preventing dust (sin) from poisoning the kids by cutting their daemons away, but that still doesnt make sense b/c they knew that the children would die, so how were they thinking they were doing some kind of favor? Can anybody explain this to me? Also, have you read the other books? Are they any good?

    I've heard about several cases by friends of mine of people to whom someone has offered a publicitary paper and when they take it, they feel like a small trembling in their body and start feeling nauseous and look as if near fainting. When taken to the hospital, the doctors have said that they were drugged through the skin by something that was on the paper. The person that offered it stood near to simulate "offering help" and maybe kidnapping the partly unconscious person. My question: Is it possible for someone to put a drug on a piece of paper and is there a drug that when you come in skin contact with it you start getting the same or similar symptoms. If there is, what drug is it? How do I know if it is present on the paper? Is there any "antidote" that I may take quickly in case of poisoning by this drug?

    Alrite...... so I have a little problem. I have a really bad skin condition called eczema. It makes my skin really dry on my arms, one of my hands, and my legs. I usually have to wear jeans and a long sleeve shirt/sweater because I am so embarsed about it. Alot of people ask me if I got poison ivy, and it gets really annoying after a while. One of my uncles have worse than I do, and so far none of the dermatolagists that he has been to has found an official cure for it. PLZ HELP ME!!!!!! Is there something that I can do to help clear it up? Any types of med??? I am currentely putting hydorcortozone cream on it, but it only seems to help a little bit. PLZ HELP< >
